Sony has chosen to XP Vaio P

As announced at CES 2009 in Las Vegas has arrived in our market the Sony Vaio P. A very small tablet with a display diagonal of only 8 inches and a resolution of 1600 x 768 pixels. The size of only 24 × 12 cm, gave home Sony can only enter a TrackPoint and even a TouchPad. The aesthetic is notable both for its size and for the elegant TFT that matches well with the keyboard and webcam integrated 0.3 MPXl.
But analyze them technically: we are talking about a Intel Atom Z530 (1.60 GHz and 533 MHz frontside bus) and an integrated video solution Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 500. Memory RAM 2 GB DDR and there is a choice of mass storage to give different options to choose price. There is talk of a hard disk 60-GB 1.8-inch or alternatively in a 128 GB Solid State. For Connectivity it comes to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n. Some versions are equipped with the 3G module. Interesting use of XrossMediaBar (Formerly known on the PSP and Bravia TV series) that allows Internet access without having to boot the operating system.
An interesting choice confirmed only recently was the chosen home of Sony equip the netbook / laptop with Windows XP Home Edition, the operating system become more widespread in this area. I costs? Sony remains a niche audience, starting from 999 € to 1499 €.
