Smartphone Tablet Meets Nokia N900

 

The increasing convergence between ultraportable PC and mobile phones in recent years has led to devices with many styles and features, and the new Nokia N900 seems like a significant moment of synthesis of this trend . Unveiled by the Finnish giant in recent days, the N900 represents the evolution of the Internet Tablet N810(such as IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad x61 tablet battery) , which adds - not just news - a phone module . The device has a radio module quad- band GSM / WCDMA , an LCD touch screen 3.5-inch 800 x 480 pixels , a Cortex- A8 processor 600 MHz ( the heart of a growing number of smartbooks power supply Apple A1036 Adapter) , 256 MB RAM (expandable to 1 GB using virtual memory ), a 32 GB flash drive and a microSD slot that can expand memory storage up to 48 GB. then can not miss the built-in camera , which boasts a resolution of 5 megapixels, a Carl Zeiss optics with Tessar lens and a dual LED flash.
As for wireless connectivity , there are Bluetooth 2.1 , WiFi 802.11b / g, A- GPS receiver , FM radio and 3G HSPA modems .
Going back to the operating system, this includes a new task manager that according to Nokia allows you to better manage the simultaneous execution of dozens of windows and applications. Among the applications included in the device is a Firefox -based browser that supports Adobe Flash Player 9.4. Maemo 5 also includes a system software update to automatically download and install any new updates about notebooks(Dell Inspiron 6400 battery).
"The Nokia N900 shows the significant progress in the development of Maemo. Continue to work with the community to further improve this software", said Anssi Vanjoki , executive vice president of marketing for Nokia. "The N900 combines the power of a computer with Internet and mobile telephony. While we continue to consider an ideal platform for Symbian smartphones, Maemo enables us to provide new solutions for mobile computing based on open source technology very similar to those used on PCs ."
The N900 will be sold in Europe during October at a price of 500 euros , excluding VAT. And ' however expected that the new Nokia tablet will be offered by some mobile operators to price promotions by subscribing special subscriptions.
Just recently Nokia has also announced its first netbook, the Booklet 3G, a mini laptop(PowerBook G4 Battery) that is based mainly on convergence with mobile phones and autonomy , declared 12 hours .
